May Center for Learning is currently hiring for the following positions:

May School:

3rd/4th grade teacher and
5th/6th grade teacher:  


These are full time, school-year positions at May School beginning August 2018.  Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of elementary teaching experience and have attained at least a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.  Special Education experience and/or certification in Academic Language Teaching preferred.  Montessori experience preferred.  In addition to salary, May School offers a retirement plan with matching contributions, medical expense stipend, and other benefits.  Candidate must be willing to train in May Center methodology.

PE Teacher:

May School is hiring a part time PE teacher (7 hours per week) for our Elementary campus beginning August 2018.  Qualified candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of teaching experience.  Special education experience or experience with teaching social skills a plus.

May Center Tutor:

This is a part-time, school-year position at May Center. Number of clients and hours worked is based upon client demand and cannot be guaranteed. May Center Tutoring Director is seeking qualified candidates with a background in education.  Experience with special education, bilingual education, ESL, Academic Language Teaching/Therapy and/or familiarity working with students with learning differences is desirable. May Center offers tutoring in reading, writing, math, executive function, study skills, and homework help. Candidate must be willing to train in May Center methodology.
