Learning Differences Overview & Simulation

Approximately 20% of individuals in the world have a learning difference such as dyslexia. This seminar presents a powerful opportunity for families, educators, and community members to understand what it is like to have a learning difference in a typical classroom setting.

Executive Functioning in the Home

While individuals with learning disabilities are incredibly bright, their disability impacts the development of academic skills such as reading and writing in addition to executive functioning skills, which are critical for the development of self-regulation. Learn more about the ways we support self-regulation at May Center and how you can apply those same approaches in your home.
