Reading: In Jack’s Reading Room, Ms. Clementine’s class read The Mouse with a House on his Back. Ms. Caitlin’s class read That Always Happens Sometimes, a humorous story about a boy getting ready for school and something always happening to throw him off-schedule.

Students from Ms. Lisa’s class created objects out of clay that went along with their novel study of The One and Only Ivan. Ms. Jennifer’s class finished the novel A Wolf Called Wander and completed a storyboard about 6 events which took place in the novel.

Students from Ms. Nia and Ms. Corrie’s classes wrote paragraphs on their book of choice, which they each read. Their paragraphs will be displayed in the hallway under the title: Summer Book Recommendations.

Art: In Art, the students drew pictures of visions through glasses. They also made feathers in preparation for a Taking Flight!-themed exhibition.

Talent Show

The students put on an amazing talent show this week for their peers. We are so lucky to have so many diverse talents in our school!
