Human Cells

Students in Ms. Deanna’s science class have been studying cell biology. There are over 200 different types of cells in the human body. Check out the detailed posters our biologists have created of some of these different types of cells.

And the total number of cells in the average human body? About 37.2 trillion.

That means if you lined up all the cells of an average human, end to end, the line could circle the Earth almost 19 times!

Read more about human cells here and here.

Parenting, Media, And
Everything In Between

In case you are not already familiar with Common Sense Media, they have a wealth of information and articles on Parenting, Media, and Everything In Between. You can search for resources by age or by topic. Look for the tab labeled "Parents Need to Know."
