Owl Vision

Art: This week with Ms. Brenda, the students started a fairy/elf house project where they’re experimenting with different architectural designs. Some students are making them from scratch, while others are using a birdhouse frame for support.

Science: This week with Ms. Carol, the Elementary and Intermediate classes conducted multiple experiments with air pressure. The Intermediate students also studied the layers of the atmosphere and the electromagnetic spectrum.

Reading: This week with Ms. Connie, students from Ms. Clementine’s class read “The Hat” by Jan Brett and “The Sock Fairy” by Bobbie Hinman.

Ms. Caitlin, Ms. Ellen, and Ms. Lisa’s classes listened to “The Mitten” and “The Sock Fairy.” Afterward, the students created a winter booklet.

Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Nia, and Ms. Corrie’s classes discussed Victorian-era life and holiday traditions, then started creating Victorian-themed holiday cards to align with their reading of A Christmas Carol.
