Gallery walk
Students in Ms. Jennifer’s and Ms. Deanna's classes were the first to host a Gallery Walk for their families this week. Each student presented a slideshow that demonstrated the knowledge they gained through researching a planet, as well as a poster board displaying information on a topic of interest from their studies of the Middle Ages.
We greatly appreciate the support of families who not only came to see their own child's presentation but took the time to engage with other students too. This provided our students with extra presentation skills practice, and their confidence has grown. Thank you!
From a Mouse’s perspective
In Ms. Ellen’s class this week, students learned a bit about perspective drawing and tried drawing a winter scene from “a mouse’s perspective,” looking up from the ground.
Thank you for all of your donations to our food drive! We have four grocery carts overflowing with items … and counting!
