Letters to the President
Students in Ms. Corrie’s class have continued their civics studies while also practicing their writing skills. Just a few weeks ago, they wrote opinion pieces to the Santa Fe New Mexican regarding the insurrection at the Capitol. This week, they completed letters to President Biden and Vice President Harris. We’re so proud of these students for giving voice to their thoughts and opinions!
Valentine Celebrations
Students enjoyed Valentine’s Day celebrations in class this week. While we were not able to hold a traditional celebratory party, students and teachers found ways to mark the occasion with special activities. Students played games such as pin the heart on the Valentine, made decorations, and gave each other thoughtful notes.
COMMUNITY SEMINAR : WAYS TO HELP YOUR STRUGGLING STUDENT

MEME - O - RAMA
Students in Ms. BB’s classes have been inspired by memes lately. She provided them a Jamboard to create memes outside of class time to share with classmates. What a creative way to spend free time!
