hot cocoa with Ms. daisy
Upon return from winter break, Ms. Daisy's students learned that they would be participating in one of the most anticipated lessons of the year - serving hot cocoa.
As part of the practical life curriculum, Ms. Daisy's students practice how to serve and enjoy hot cocoa with their classmates. This lesson develops the fine and gross motor skills that are required to serve a drink, as well as providing an opportunity to show grace and courtesy.
When participating in this activity, one student is the host and practices inviting a guest to join them. The host is responsible for serving and holding a conversation with their hot cocoa guest.
