Science: In Science, students learned about tectonic plates and volcanoes. They’re currently building a May Center Ring of Fire—stay tuned later this week for eruptions!
Reading: In Jack’s Reading Room, Ms. Clementine’s class read a book about St. Patrick’s Day and colored pictures of shamrocks and leprechauns.
Ms. Caitlin’s class discovered that dinosaurs and alligators are related! Then, they read two humorous books; one about a pterodactyl and another about an alligator.
Students from Ms. Ellen’s class read the next chapter in Judy Moody, which was about field trips. They also discussed some of their favorite field trips.
Ms. Lisa’s class continued reading the novel, The One and Only Ivan.
Intermediate students created their own stories, which included a god or goddess as one character in the story.
