Updated Sick Policy
When to Keep Your Child Home
Parents should keep their child at home if they exhibit any of the following symptoms:
Fever
Vomiting or diarrhea
Uncontrolled cough or severe nasal congestion
Rash or skin lesions
Fatigue or irritability that prevents participation in school activities
Returning to School After Illness
Students should remain at home until they have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours without the use of medication.
If a student is prescribed antibiotics, they must be on them for at least 48 hours before returning to school.
If a student develops symptoms during school hours, parents or emergency contacts will be notified and must pick up the student promptly.

Owl Vision
Science: Volcanoes were erupting this week in Ms. Carol’s classes! The Intermediate students also plotted volcanoes on a map all along the Pacific Ring of Fire. They also gave presentations about famous volcanoes around the world.
Art: This week, the students made Hamsa hands and intertwined their hands to make friendship pieces!
