Dream Big — May Center’s Annual Matching Campaign
We are so thrilled to announce that our annual matching campaign starts next week! From May 10 - 12, your donation will be TRIPLED by our generous matching donors.
Our goal this year is to raise $120,000 by May 12! The best news? You can make your gift early! Starting now, all donations will count towards our goal. Don’t wait! Make a donation or pledge today.
Your support enables May Center to dream BIG as we head into our next decade. Your gift goes towards:
Financial aid for May School students
Our work improving literacy outcomes for all students in New Mexico
We’ll be posting many informative and exciting updates on our Facebook page (@TheMayCenterForLearning). It would mean the world to us if you would like and share our content with your network, as well as invite them to participate in the campaign.
Finally, you can volunteer to help call May Center supporters for their donations on May 11 and 12. This volunteer position is critical in reaching our goal! Snacks and beverages will be provided for all volunteers at May Center. If you’d like to volunteer, please email julia@maycenter.org.

Donations for Wildfire Evacuees & Firefighters
Students in Ms. Caitlin's class are leading a donation collection for firefighters and evacuees of the Calf Canyon / Hermits Peak wildfire.
We will be collecting the following items at least through next Wednesday, May 11.
Toiletries: fingernail clippers, chapstick, towels (there is an immediate and big need here for those), toilet paper, feminine products
General items: phone chargers, socks, underwear, new clothing, blankets, pillows
Food: non-perishable snacks and other non-perishable food items, dog and cat food
For children: coloring books, chalk, crayons, bubbles. Puzzles (but only if they are brand new so there’s no missing pieces).
We're so proud of these students and their care and concern for the greater community!
COVID-19 Booster
With more than 90% of our student body and 100% of our employees vaccinated against COVID-19, our May School community has done an exceptional job of helping to protect ourselves and others during this pandemic. If your child is aged 12-15 years and received their two vaccination doses this winter, it may be time to schedule their booster shot.
Please visit https://cv.nmhealth.org/covid-vaccine/ for more information and to schedule their booster. Santa Fe area locations currently have plenty of doses available for children!
