Owl Vision

Art: This week, Ms. Brenda explored the spooky season with students by making bat splatter paintings and dancing skeletons. The Intermediate students also created their own dolls in alignment with reading Coraline.

Science: This week, the Elementary classes learned about potential and kinetic energy by launching candy corn catapults. The Intermediate classes explored Newton’s three laws of motion.

Reading: In Jack’s Reading Room, the Elementary students read and learned about squirrels and chipmunks and how they are different. The Intermediate students continued reading Coraline and created beautiful illustrations inspired by the novel.

Around the Nest

The Intermediate students have been paired up, with the older students teaching the younger ones how to create Google Slide presentations for their research assignments.

Some of our Intermediate students are also mentoring our Early Childhood students, which is such a joy for both age groups.

Have a wonderful weekend!
