Owl Vision

Reading: This week in Jack’s Reading Room, students from Ms. Clementine, Ms. Caitlin, and Ms. Ellen’s classes learned about Día de los Muertos through books, coloring projects, and music. Ms. Lisa’s class began a novel study of Because of Wynn Dixie, and the Intermediate students continued their reading of Coraline.

Art: This week, Ms. Brenda continued exploring the “spooky season” with students by working on their Coraline dolls, creating Tim Burton-inspired charcoal drawings, and venturing into sculpture.

Science: This week, the Elementary classes explored static electricity by making ghosts dance and water move! In the Intermediate classes, students learned how to complete an electrical circuit and built a creature to go with the “eyes.”
