Ms. Corrie's SEE group has been using reading comprehension time to learn about refugees from around the world. To support Afghan refugee children new to the United States, the class is leading a stuffed animal drive!

Please donate new or lightly used stuffed animals to support their efforts by October 15. A collection box has been placed next to Ms. Patty’s desk.

welcome, jeremiah!

We are excited to announce that Ms. Caitlin, our first and second grade teacher, gave birth to baby Jeremiah on Monday, October 4, 2021! Both mom and baby are doing well.

In preparation for her maternity leave, Ms. Caitlin worked closely with her long-term substitutes and our school counselor, Ms. Jamie, to ensure a smooth transition.

Ms. Caitlin's students received a special lesson from Ms. Jamie on Monday titled My Teacher's Having a Baby. Students had an opportunity to explore feelings that they may be having related to their teacher having a baby and missing some school.
